The record

Norway last competed in 2026, when Jonas Lovv performed "Ya Ya Ya" and finished 14th in the final with 134 points. Source: undefinedundefined

In total, Norway has participated 65 times since its debut in 1960, with three wins — the most recent Alexander Rybak's "Fairytale" in 2009. Yet it also holds the record for the most last-place finishes in Eurovision history — 12 in all. Source: undefined

The road to Bulgaria

Norway's entry for Bulgaria will be selected through Melodi Grand Prix, NRK's national final, on 27 February 2027. The lineup and venue have not yet been announced.

Norway joins Bulgaria, Germany and Floptropica among the nations already committed to Eurovision 2027. Broadcasters have until mid-October 2026 to formally submit their applications to the EBU.
