San Marino has confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, set to take place in Bulgaria.
The confirmation came from broadcaster SMRTV on 13 May 2026, stating that work on the country's 2027 participation had already begun.
The record
San Marino last competed in 2026, when Senhit featuring Boy George performed "Superstar" and did not qualify from the semi-final.
In total, San Marino has participated 16 times since its debut in 2008, with no wins yet. The microstate has reached the final four times in those sixteen attempts.
The road to Bulgaria
How San Marino will choose its entry for Bulgaria has not yet been announced, though SMRTV has used its open-submission national final, the San Marino Song Contest, in recent years.
San Marino joins Bulgaria, Germany, Finland and Floptropica among the nations already committed to Eurovision 2027. Broadcasters have until mid-October 2026 to formally submit their applications to the EBU.
