what we keep about you
Almost nothing, and this page is specific about the “almost”. Last reviewed against the code on .
What there is none of
- No accounts. Nothing on this site asks you to sign up, log in, or give a name or an email address to read it.
- No cookies of our own. The site sets none. The one exception is described under advertising, and it is Google's, not ours, and only with your consent.
- No analytics script. We do not load a tracker, a pixel or a tag manager. If we look at traffic figures, they come from the host's own aggregate counts, which use no cookies and no cross-site identifiers.
- No third-party fonts, embeds or widgets. The typefaces are served from this domain; there are no embedded players, share buttons or social feeds that phone home.
What stays in your browser
Two things, both in your browser's local storage, neither sent anywhere:
- Your theme choice (light or dark), so the page does not flash on load.
- Which fan polls you have voted in, so the vote page can show your choice as locked. Clearing site data resets both.
The fan polls
When you vote, the site's database adds one to a counter for that option. That is the whole record: a number per option. It stores nothing about the voter — not an IP address, not a hashed one, not a fingerprint, not a timestamp per vote. The “one vote per poll” rule is enforced by your own browser remembering that you voted, which is exactly as strong as a fan poll needs to be. A poll is content, not evidence; its totals are never used to corroborate anything on the tracker.
The host
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare receives the connection data needed to deliver a page and keep the site up — your IP address, the page requested, browser and timing information — and processes it under its own privacy policy. We do not build profiles from those logs and have no way to identify a reader from them.
Advertising
The templates contain advertising slots, and they are switched off by default. When they are on, the ads are served by Google AdSense and are labelled as advertising. Readers in the European Economic Area are shown Google's certified consent message before anything personalised can load; until you choose, every consent signal the site sends is set to “denied”, so no advertising cookie is written and no personalised ad is requested. Social platforms
Bulgariavision runs its own accounts on instagram.com , tiktok.com and threads.net . What you do there is governed by those platforms' policies, not this one. Where the site posts to its own accounts automatically, it does so through the platforms' official APIs. Through Meta's Graph API the site also reads public statistics — follower and post counts, likes and comments — about public professional accounts in the Eurovision fan community, including its own. That is data about accounts, not about people: the site never receives, stores or asks for information about individual readers, followers or commenters, and nothing read from a platform feeds the tracker.
If you write to us
Mail to the desk is kept as ordinary correspondence for as long as the matter it is about is live, and is used for nothing else — no list, no newsletter, no sharing. Ask and it is deleted.
Your rights, and changes
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to a supervisory authority — in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection. For this site the honest answer to “what do you hold” is usually “your email, if you wrote to us”. Questions to desk@bulgariavision.com.
This page changes when the code does. Each section above is true because of a specific part of the site, and the date at the top is the last time someone checked that it still is.
